Artist Statement | Installation | September 2015

By repositioning personal experience, the real and the virtual I offer a recollection of lived experience; in which time, location and spontaneity have now dissolved into a common space.  The images fold and unfold animating this virtual life.  Travelling through networks, these images return to present space; where virtual experiences are equivalent to concrete realities.
I am interested in natural territory in terms of both nature and culture; using topography as means to generate imagery.  By cropping natural, artificial and physical features in an area, I question the classification of things, in material and metaphoric space.
